# Changing The Field Shape
A field shape (soccer 11v11, american football, australian football, baseball, etc.) can be changed without creating a new plan.

- If you change to plan defined by Point Groups you will need to set the points again.
Existing points will not be re-used. - If you change from a plan defined by Flags to a plan also defined by Flags then the Flag positions will be re-used.
- Please note: the new plan may not scale to the same field size.
However, it will maintain the orientation defined by Flag 1 and Flag 2. - Field width and length will not change.
- Please note: the new plan may not scale to the same field size.
- When changing the field shape the plan name remains the same.
- After having changed the field shape it can be a good idea to rename the plan.

# Useful scenarios
- If you quickly want to change the plan type without going through the process of creating a new plan.
- If you want to correct a wrongly choosen plan type.
- If you have made various changes to a plan under "Edit > Options" and want to go back to the original plan with default settings.
# Locating the field shapes
1. Press "Edit".
2. Press "Shapes".
3. The category window is now displayed.
From the window, select the category followed by the plan type.

It is possible to check if the inserted plan is the correct type by pressing the "Show info" button in the bottom left corner of the Map View.
In this example, "11v11" is the plan´s name and "Soccer 11v11" is the shape type.
Important
Remember to press "Save" to save the changes.
