# Step 1 - Unboxing
The Turf Tank and all it's accessories are received on a pallet tightly secured with metal strips around a cardboard box. If you have chosen to unpack it together with one of our sales reps, he will follow the same steps as provide here.
# Box contents
The box contains everything needed to operate the Turf Tank line marking robot.
- Turf Tank with all it's accessories located in its paint compartment.
- Tripod or prism pole for mounting the base station.
Please refer to the What's included section to get an overview of all accessories that comes with the Turf Tank.
IMPORTANT
If you notice that something is missing from the box, please notify your Authorized Distributor immediately. In case your are unboxing the robot together with one or our sales representatives, please notify him of any missing items prior to his visit.
# Remove the box
To open the box, follow the instructions below:
- Cut the 3 green metal strips and dispose them.
- Cut the tape at the top of the box.
- Lift the cardboard box off the contents.
This will reveal 4 pieces of white styrofoam protecting the Turf Tank.
WARNING
Take great care to identify all parts by comparing the contents of the box with the package list (attached to the box) or the box contents section above.
# Accessories in the box
When the cardboard box has been removed, you need to identify all parts that comes with your Turf Tank robot.
- The only accessory packaged in the styrofoam is the tripod or prism pole.
TIP
It's a good idea to keep all the packaging material in case the robot needs to be shipped to a different location, e.g. for maintenance purposes.
# Remove robot
When all accessories has been identified, it's time to remove the Turf Tank from the pallet.
WARNING
This is a two-man job as it requires one person to lift it at both the front and back.
TIP
Do not remove the tape covering the paint compartment of the robot to prevent accessories inside from falling out while lifting the robot off the pallet.
- Make sure the covers and lid are closed.
- Position one person at the front and one at the back of the robot.
- Grip around the two lifting handles located on both the front- and rear bumpers.
- Lift the robot from the styrofoam and place it on the floor.
