Get Started

The following sections describes the required steps to get started using the Turf Tank One, Base Station and Tablet.

The sections does not cover how to paint an actual field. How to do this is described in a seperate tutorial which covers a Soccer field. The tutorial is found here:

Refer to this section before going to the field to learn what essential equipment you must bring to use the Turf Tank One as well as how to set everything up to get started.

Checklist Of Equipment Needed

• Turf Tank One

• Fully charged battery or batteries for the Turf Tank One.
  • If you don’t have extra batteries, you can bring the battery charger to the field.
    • Assuming you have access to a power outlet at the location.
  • One fully charged battery will last approx. 2.5 hours.
  • Recharging an empty battery to 75 percent capacity will take around 1 hour.

• Fully charged Base Station.
  • One fully charged base station will last for 4-6 hours.
  • Recharging to 100 percent will take around 8 hours.
  • Charging accessories for the Base Station enables on-site charging or operating directly of a power source, such as a 12V battery.
    • The Charger and charging cable are required for charging.

• Fully charged Tablet.

• Antenna for Turf Tank One.
  • Needed for communication with the Base Station.

• Antenna for Base Station.
  • Needed for communication with the Turf Tank One.

• Tripod.
  • For mounting the Base Station.
  • Required if purchased.

• Prism Pole and Prism Pole Tripod.
  • For mounting the Base Station.
  • Required if purchased.
  • Using the Prism Pole Tripod depends on installation method.

• Paint.
