# Mounting Options
For proper functionality, the Base Station needs to be mounted steadily onto a platform.
The Base Station can be mounted using the following methods:
- Using a Tripod.
- Using a Prism Pole.
- Using a Prism Pole with a Prism Pole Tripod.
# Tripod

The Tripod ensures a very stable and level platform for the Base Station. The Tripod is a mobile unit that can be easily moved from location to location. It comes with a built-in leveling bubble to ensure a level installation. Furthermore, it has three rubber feet which is suitable if placing the tripod in hard surfaces, i.e. tarmac, stone pavement.
# Prism Pole

Using the Prism Pole is only recommended if also using the Prism Pole Tripod for added stability. With the Prism Pole Tripod, the Prism Pole can be placed in hard surfaces, i.e. tarmac, stone pavement. It is also possible to install a pipe in the ground. If using a pipe, it is still recommended to also use the Prism Pole Tripod. When choosing a pipe to drive into the ground, find a pipe that fits tightly around the pole. If there is too much slack between the Pole and pipe, the mounted Base Station will potentially move too much in the top end and potentially cause the Turf Tank One to move in a less precise manner. Any variation will translate directly to the lines on the field. The recommended pipe length is 60cm or 2 feet. The Prism Pole comes with a built-in leveling bubble to ensure a level installation.
# Prism Pole With Prism Pole Tripod
The Prism Pole Tripod is always recommended to use in combination with the Prism Pole for added stability. This combination is suitable for both soft and hard surfaces and can be used if installing a pipe in the ground is not an option.
