# Transportation and Shipping

Lithium-ion batteries are regulated as “Hazardous Materials” by the U.S. Department of Transportation. For more information, contact the U.S. Department of Transportation at www.phmsa.dot.gov/hazmat/regs (opens new window).

WARNING

Other rules and regulations may apply in other countries.

# Returning the Turf Tank

If the Turf Tank needs to be shipped to a new location to for example carry out maintenance or repair, it is important that it is packaged properly. We always recommend re-using the existing packaging material to protect the Turf Tank during transportation.

TIP

If you have disposed of the original packaging material, an industrial pallet (approx. 100x100 cm) can be used instead. Using an euro pallet (80x100 cm) will not suffice, as the robot will be "sticking out" from its edges.

Your Authorized Distributor can help you obtain the necessary shipping documents.

DANGER

As the Turf Tank uses a high-capacity lithium-ion battery it is considered being Dangerous Goods. Shipping dangerous goods has very strict rules that must be followed at all times.
Failing to comply with such rules might result in legal actions!

Consult with your Authorized Distributor for guidelines toward handling dangerous goods.
