# Enable Auto Mode
Auto Mode improves the ease of use as it enables the operator to freely position the Base Station without having any information available about its location, i.e. having previously marked where the Base Station must be physically placed. Thus, by using Auto Mode the operator is exempt from creating a fixed physical location whenever the Base Station is used.

Auto Mode is especially useful for a contractor that maintains the fields for a lot of customers and where a fixed position can not immediately be created.

To use “Auto Mode” an activate CORS subscription is needed. Turf Tank do not provide any support for maintaining a working CORS subscription. It is solely the operator's responsibility to obtain the credentials to whatever network is provided in your region.
# How To Enable Auto Mode
1. From the Home Screen, press-hold on the push button to open the System Menu.
2. Navigate to “AUTO MODE” by single pressing the push button and press-hold to choose.
After choosing "AUTO MODE" the screen will after a short while show:
Followed by returning to the Home Screen:
The position is now succesfully set and the Base Station is ready to use in Auto Mode.
Please note
If the position is succesfully set the Base Station will go into “Auto Mode”.

Important
If the Auto Mode is NOT succesfully enabled the display will show one of the following:
- ERROR AUTO MODE
- ERROR CORS SETUP
ERROR AUTO MODE
Reasons for showing ERROR AUTO MODE:
- Auto Mode cannot connect to the CORS network.
- Inserted SIM Card is either not activated or faulty.
With "ERROR AUTO MODE" the Base Station will afterwards go into "Single Use" mode.
ERROR CORS SETUP
Reasons for showing ERROR CORS SETUP:
- Auto Mode is selected without an active CORS subscription.
- If a subscription has already been added, check with your provider if the network is down (i.e. due to maintenance) or if your credentials are still valid.
With "ERROR CORS SETUP" the Base Station will afterwards go into "Single Use" mode.
